Over the past day the Ukrainian military shelled the territory of the Republic three hundred forty times. The enemy launched a hundred sixty-six 82mm and 120mm mortar shells. In addition, the enemy used an anti-tank cannon "Rapira" three times, a tank one time, as well as grenade launchers of different types and small arms.

The Ukrainian military opened fire at the following localities: 

Zaytsevo, Alexandrovka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk,Spartak, Krutaya Balka, Staromikhaylovka, Mineralnoye, Sakhanka, Octyabr, Nikolaevka, Novaya Maryevka, the Petrovsky district and the area of the airport of Donetsk city. 

We would like to note that last night, during two hours, the enemy launched sixty-four mortar shells from their positions in the area of Krasnogorovka and Avdeevka to the localities in the north-west of Donetsk.

The bombardments on the southern borders of the DPR were carried out by mercenaries from Arab countries.

The criminal orders to shell the DPR territory were given by the brigade commanders Shaptala, Sokolov and Delyatitsky.

All the data on the Minsk Agreements violations were handed over to representatives of the JCCC and OSCE mission.

According to our intelligence information, the Ukrainian authorities deployed a base for training terrorists from Arab countries to the east of Mariupol. With each new arrival of terrorists the situation in the area of Mariupol continues to deteriorate. The rotation of the terrorists takes place at least once a month. The training is to receive skills of fighting within the boundaries of localities. The training of terrorists is carried out by commanders of ISIS armed groups, who already have experience of fighting in hot spots. After completion of training courses and participation in provocations on the contact line, the authorities of Ukraine send trained terrorists, via Turkey, to areas of armed conflicts in the Middle East. Their presence in the ATO zone and the high salaries of instructors, provided by Ukrainian taxpayers, Arab mercenaries justify by the constant destabilization of the situation in the south of the Republic.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that, since early May, our intelligence has been reporting the enemy's preparation to large-scale provocations in the area of the localities Avdeevka, Novotroitskoye and Volnovakha. 

The purpose of these provocations is to accuse the DPR authorities of mass casualties among civilians, organized by the AFU special operations forces. 

It is important to note that, to produce videos ordered by the Ukrainian special services, there came a group of foreign journalists that will take part in the provocations on the part of the AFU during the period from 16 to 22 May. 

Furthermore, on 11 May, in the area of Kurakhovo, local residents saw an aircraft flying at low altitude from the depths of Ukraine towards the contact line. It is possible that this aircraft will be used in provocations. Our intelligence also reports the intensification of the AFU EW in the area of responsibility of the 14th separate mechanised brigade, which can be a sign of preparation of the Ukrainian aviation for actions in these areas, such as combat and demonstration flights.

We would like to draw your particular attention to the fact that our intelligence has obtained reliable data on the preparation of a contingency launcher for guided and unguided weapons by the AFU military, together with mercenaries from Arab countries.

Similar "makeshift" means were already used in Syria and Iraq by the ISIS terrorists. According to the information from our sources, the Ukrainian authorities, together with the hired terrorists, are planning to use this launcher in the area of the locality of Avdeevka in the near future.

All the data on the preparation of mass provocations in the ATO zone by the Ukrainian special services was handed over to representatives of the JCCC and OSCE mission.

In addition, our intelligence has reported the fact that, near the locality of Avdeevka, soldiers of the 13the separate motorised infantry battalion of the 58th separate motorised infantry brigade shelled with artillery the positions of a company tactic group of the 90th air-mobile battalion of the 81st separate air-mobile brigade, which resulted in tenUkrainian soldiers killed and another seven injured. The incident was caused by uncoordinated actions of the units of the 58th and 81st brigades, as well as by the personal order of the commander of the 13th separate motorised infantry battalion of the 58th separate motorised infantry brigade to open artillery fire on targets chosen by him.

Despite the provocations being prepared by the Ukrainian side, our army is ready to any development of the situation. We possess sufficient knowledge to stop the bloody events which the Ukrainian authorities are trying to organize. The Armed Forces of the People's Republic of Donetsk are prepared to disrupt the enemy's aggressive plans.
