Texas Orders All US Military Wear ID
Texas governor puts "yellow star" on US military.

Greg Abbot orders private “non sworn” militia to monitor all military, active and reserve,” who are now forced to wear “military identification.” An obscure organization, ridden with scandals when George W. Bush was its “Commander in Chief” is tasked with enforcing the ID badge ruling.
The Texas State Guard is not allowed to carry weapons inside the United States by law and is not a legal military organization of the United States nor can it be put under command or even serve in time of war.
This is not a hoax. This idiot really said that.
The Texas State Guard is a private organization that claims it can aid the real National Guard in emergencies. There are no requirements, no background checks, no health or condition requirements to belong to the “State Guard,” only a love of beer and, quite frankly, membership in GOP organizations.
They are what is left over of the “Black Legion” of the 1930s, an offshoot of the Klan.
The State Guard, in trying to present itself as the National Guard is a fraud. It is in now way a military organization of the United States. From their website:
Headquartered at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, the TXSG functions as an organized state militia which includes non prior service civilians who wear a Texas Guard uniform but are not allowed to carry weapons.
Ohio has a similar militia. The former owner of a local supermarket chain, Richard Ott, with no military service whatsoever, commands the Ohio State Guard. His political career was cut short when he was photographed wearing an unusual uniform:
It began in response to a hoax from right wing bloggers that has now become a very real security threat to the United States. Was it a hoax or something more? Is the real Jade Helm the disinformation and cyber warfare campaign being waged on the internet?
If so, who is in charge? For certain, not the Pentagon or White House.
Today, Texas governor Greg Abbott ordered all military stationed or living in Texas including special operations units, Navy SEALS, whether on leave or National Guard to wear identification whenever they are in public.
Department of Defense guidelines, part of normal security protocols, advises members of the military to do quite the opposite. Recently, members of the US military were targeted by terrorist groups, their families are being threatened as of this writing. Governor Abbott is clearly aiding in this process and has turned on America’s military. From Catherine Thompson:
A former Republican state lawmaker wrote a scathing letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Thursday that slammed him for “pandering to idiots” who believe that a planned U.S. military exercise is cover for a forcible takeover of the state.
In a letter obtained by the Dallas Morning News, Todd Smith, who served in the state legislature for 16 years, wrote that he was “livid” about Abbott’s request for the State Guard to monitor the military’s upcoming training exercise, dubbed “Jade Helm 15.”“I am horrified that I have to choose between the possibility that my Governor actually believes this stuff and the possibility that my Governor doesn’t have the backbone to stand up to those who do,” Smith wrote.“I am appalled that you would give credence to the nonsense mouthed by those who instead make decisions based on internet or radio shock jock driven hysteria,” he added. “Is there ANYBODY who is going to stand up to this radical nonsense that is cancer on our State and Party?”
In addition, the governor has ordered his “palace guard” of political contributors and “good old boys,” what is called the “State Guard” to monitor the US military.
Many State Guard members have long ties to white supremacist groups, militias and the KKK. Officers buy their rank with political contributions. Their uniforms, sometimes mistaken for real soldiers, are a smear against the US military.
