Hi everysoul !
I could not resist the urge to offer you once again
some useful perspectives on the current world situation and especially on the
raving mad desire by the US hegemonic imperialists to crush the Syrian Army -
which is their obvious goal, and forget about any alleged "limited
strikes", which is yet another outright lie and deception!
So here it goes...
Despite the complete absence of any shred of a proof
(see Congressman Grayson's letter in the New York Times below) that the Syrian
government is responsible for the ignominious chemical attacks against innocent
civilians, and despite more than ample evidence that it is the islamist
terrorists (or so-called 'rebels' - if you are routing for them - who have
killed nearly 40,000 Syrian soldiers in the past 2 years and laid waste to vast
swaths of syrian cities) who have done this to give to the US Military a
pretext to intervene with the full might of their Tomahawk arsenal to help tip
the balance of this unending 'civil' war in their favor, Uncle Sam is going
full throttle in its propaganda effort, with the full support of the presstitutes of the
corporate US media, to
try to persuade the Congress and the US population that throwing their lethal
weight behind Al-Qaeda militiamen - and killing thousands of civilians
and triggering the explosion of the Middle East powder keg - is the right
thing to do.
Luckily, the American public knows better this time -
and thus Obama is faced with a VERY hard sell Tuesday evening when he'll try to
assuage the public's fear that yet another war, another bottomless pit for the
US taxpayers dollars to feed the insatiable industrial/military cartel that
runs, and ruins, this country, is what the flagging US economy needs to
avoid bankrupcy. The truth of the matter is that he might be right, for
as it's explained in this video, the real aim of this administration, like the
previous one, in its international warmaking and meddling, is to protect the
status of the US dollar as the sole currency used in oil transactions. Iran
which now demands to be paid in gold bullions for the oil it sells (because of
the international sanctions - see HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE) is threatening the hegemony of the US dollars as the
world reserve currency, as did Saddam Hussein, which is the only thing
preventing the collapse of the hyper-leveraged US economy and the demise of its
controlling cabal. Because the US cannot attack directly Iran which avoids any
move that would give the US an excuse to attack, the current strategy, initiated in
2007, is to draw
Iran into a direct confrontation with the US and Israel through attacking its
ally, Syria. If it happens, this will set in motion a chain of events that, in
all likelihood, could ultimately lead to the military involvement of Russia and
China, and thus to World War 3. Yet, of course, there is much more to this than
mere economic considerations.
As Jon Stewart so graphically put in his September 3 Daily Show, the US is caught in a
struggle of national egos of its own making through warning Syria about an
arbitrary "Red Line" that once crossed would bring military punitive
actions against it, a dumb and yet cunningly planned move that set the stage
for the current crisis. Now that the mighty US superpower has promised to act
militarily to directly confront the Assad regime if it used chemical weapons (which
would have been utterly stupid and foolish of them to do), it is caught in
a serious trap. If Obama doesn't act, his dickish threat will be shown to be
nothing but a bluff, and future threats won't be taken seriously. This is the
typical behaviour of a seventh-grade bully trying to assert or maintain its
dominance. And it's ridickulous... More than that, this stupid brinkmanship
threatens to precipitate the world into a global conflagration that will tear
asunder this planet and eradicate any hope of overcoming the terrible odds we
have all co-created through our selfish disregard for the balance of Life on
Earth.
At a moment when we know* that continuing to add more
carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, mainly through burning fossil fuels, is going
to unleash civilization-shattering consequences, is this really what the
world needs?
At a moment when we know** that with an unchecked
increase of carbon dioxide, the acidification of the oceans will inevitably
lead to a mass marine extinction event, is this really what the world needs?
At a moment when we know*** that at least 50% of the
world population must live on less than $2.50 a day, meaning that one billion
children live in abject poverty, with climate change causing daily ever more
poverty and hunger, is this really what the world needs?
I doubt it.
No wonder that Pope Francis had called for a Prayer
Vigil for Peace this Saturday evening...
"This evening, I ask the Lord that we Christians,
and our brothers and sisters of other religions, and every man and woman of
good will, cry out forcefully: violence and war are never the way to peace! Let
everyone be moved to look into the depths of his or her conscience and listen
to that word which says: Leave behind the self-interest that hardens your
heart, overcome the indifference that makes your heart insensitive towards
others, conquer your deadly reasoning, and open yourself to dialogue and
reconciliation. Look upon your brother's sorrow and do not add to it, stay your
hand, rebuild the harmony that has been shattered; and all this achieved not by
conflict but by encounter!"
- Taken from the Homily of Pope
Francis
Now, can we reasonably hope that Congress will say NO
to this ploy and deny Obama any fig leaf legal cover to go after Assad. But it
is not assured yet because as we all know most politicians can be manipulated,
blackmailed, bought and/or somehow forced to comply as is undoubtedly already
happening. So if you have
any way to make your voice heard, through calling your
elected representative as
suggested by congressman Grayson (more below on his great initiative), staging
a demonstration as many are doing (http://www.answercoalition.org/) or simply sharing this email with all your list of
contacts (preferably with a word of introduction to explain why you feel it is
important to urgently review this material), this might help tip the balance
towards peace.
But of course, averting the overt involvement of the
US military in this conflict won't solve the so-called 'civil' war in Syria nor
prevent the Cabal from staging more ploys to further their aim of world
domination. Let us hope however that this whole episode, if successfully
averted, with have opened the eyes of the population once and for all as to the
manipulations everyone is being subjected to by their 'elected' governments and
through the mainstream propaganda media spreading their lies and thus being
complicit in their crimes of mass deception and mass murder.
Let us also ceaselessly work to cocreate the kind of
globally peaceful, environmentally balanced, socially just and spiritually
enlightened future we all came here to co-manifest.

The danger of the administration's approach was illustrated by a widely read report last week in The Daily Caller, which claimed that the Obama administration had selectively used intelligence to justify military strikes in Syria, with one report "doctored so that it leads a reader to just the opposite conclusion reached by the original report."
The allegedly doctored report attributes the attack to the Syrian general staff. But according to The Daily Caller, "it was clear that 'the Syrian general staff were out of their minds with panic that an unauthorized strike had been launched by the 155th Brigade in express defiance of their instructions.'"

WASHINGTON - THE documentary record regarding an attack on Syria consists of just two papers: a four-page unclassified summary and a 12-page classified summary. The first enumerates only the evidence in favor of an attack. I'm not allowed to tell you what's in the classified summary, but you can draw your own conclusion.

On Thursday I asked the House
Intelligence Committee staff whether there was any other documentation available,
classified or unclassified. Their answer was "no."
The Syria chemical weapons summaries are based on several hundred underlying elements of intelligence information. The unclassified summary cites intercepted telephone calls, "social media" postings and the like, but not one of these is actually quoted or attached - not even clips from YouTube. (As to whether the classified summary is the same, I couldn't possibly comment, but again, draw your own conclusion.)

Over the last week the
administration has run a full-court press on Capitol Hill, lobbying members
from both parties in both houses to vote in support of its plan to attack
Syria. And yet we members are supposed to accept, without question, that the
proponents of a strike on Syria have accurately depicted the underlying
evidence, even though the proponents refuse to show any of it to us or to the
American public.
In fact, even gaining access to just the classified summary involves a series of unreasonably high hurdles.
We have to descend into the bowels of the Capitol Visitors Center, to a room four levels underground. Per the instructions of the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, note-taking is not allowed.
Once we leave, we are not permitted to discuss the classified summary with the public, the media, our constituents or even other members. Nor are we allowed to do anything to verify the validity of the information that has been provided.

And this is just the
classified summary. It is my understanding that the House Intelligence Committee
made a formal request for the underlying intelligence reports several days ago.
I haven't heard an answer yet. And frankly, I don't expect one.
Compare this lack of
transparency with the administration's treatment of the Benghazi attack.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, to her credit, made every single
relevant classified e-mail, cable and intelligence report available to every
member of Congress. (I know this, because I read them all.) Secretary Clinton
had nothing to hide.
Her successor, John Kerry, has said repeatedly that this administration isn't trying to manipulate the intelligence reports the way that the Bush administration did to rationalize its invasion of Iraq.
Her successor, John Kerry, has said repeatedly that this administration isn't trying to manipulate the intelligence reports the way that the Bush administration did to rationalize its invasion of Iraq.
But by refusing to disclose
the underlying data even to members of Congress, the administration is making
it impossible for anyone to judge, independently, whether that statement is
correct. Perhaps the edict of an earlier administration applies: "Trust,
but verify."
The danger of the administration's approach was illustrated by a widely read report last week in The Daily Caller, which claimed that the Obama administration had selectively used intelligence to justify military strikes in Syria, with one report "doctored so that it leads a reader to just the opposite conclusion reached by the original report."

I don't know who is right, the
administration or The Daily Caller. But for me to make the correct
decision on whether to allow an attack, I need to know. And so does the
American public.
We have reached the point
where the classified information system prevents even trusted members of
Congress, who have security clearances, from learning essential facts, and then
inhibits them from discussing and debating what they do know. And this extends
to matters of war and peace, money and blood. The "security state"
is drowning in its own phlegm.
My position is simple: if the
administration wants me to vote for war, on this occasion or on any other, then
I need to know all the facts. And I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Top 10 Unproven Claims for War
Against Syria - By Dennis Kucinich (September 7, 2013)
Here are some key questions
which President Obama has yet to answer in the call for congressional approval
for war against Syria. (...) The American people have a right to a full release
and vetting of all facts before their elected representatives are asked to make
a decision of great consequence for America, Syria and the world. Congress must
be provided answers prior to the vote, in open hearings, not in closed sessions
where information can be manipulated in the service of war. We've been there
before. It's called Iraq.
9 Ways America Has Fueled the
Bloody Civil War in Syria (September 4, 2013)
America has undermined
opportunities for ceasefire in Syria and a peaceful political transition. (...)
In fact, Obama admitted in an
interview with Jeffrey Goldberg for the Atlantic in March
2012 that his entire assault on Syria is itself part of a broader strategy to
isolate Iran by destroying its strongest Arab ally. When asked what more
the U.S. could do to topple Assad, Obama laughed and said, "Well, nothing
that I can tell you, because your classified clearance isn't good enough."
But enough details have now emerged of the true contours of this policy to make
his crocodile tears for alleged nerve agent victims seem grotesque. The
atrocious position in which he has placed the American public in whose name he
acts should spur outrage, at a political class who connive in such cynical and
murderous policies; at commercial media who laugh all the way to the bank as
they misinform and mislead us; and yes, at ourselves for being patsies for
serial aggression and genocide, in Vietnam, Iraq and now Syria. CLIP

Top 9 Real Reasons To Go To War in Syria (September 3, 2013)
http://www.activistpost.com/2013/09/the-top-9-real-reasons-to-go-to-war-in.html
In no particular order:
In no particular order:
- One: Give the appearance of
unifying the country behind the President, who "did his job the right
way," by going to Congress for approval. This elevates Obama's ratings
and, by inference, suggests that his other programs should be accorded more
merit. A wartime president always gains more support.
- Two: Give the people an
adrenaline rush. The effect should never be underestimated. Cleanses the pores,
cleans the slate, and relieves frustration by proxy, temporarilyŠif you have
very little access to your cerebral functions.
- Three: In this case, winning
Congressional approval reinstates the illusion, for a few moments, that we are
a Constitutional Republic, with a government dedicated to justice.
- Four: Help fulfill the
long-planned US-Israeli agenda of destabilizing Syria and causing it to
partition into warring and chaotic ethnic factions.
- Five: Stop the construction
of a natural gas pipeline across Syria, which would boost Iran's economy by
sending Iranian gas to Europe. Iran's economy must be torpedoed.
- Six: Send a message
throughout the Middle East that the US is all-powerful and the dollar must
remain the reserve currency in all oil transactions.
- Seven: Feed the US
military-industrial complex, which demands wars.
- Eight: Aid the long-term
goal of Globalism/Free Trade, which involves putting the entire Middle East
into unresolvable debt and sufferingŠand then coming in with outside elite
bankster financing, to rebuild the entire region and own it, lock, stock, and
barrel.
- Nine: Distract Americans
from a number of scandals, including: Benghazi, Fast&Furious, IRS
non-profit division crimes, NSA spying, the continuing failed war in
Afghanistan, and a tanking domestic economy with more and more people living
below the poverty line.
None of these reasons has
anything to do with "punishing Assad for using chemical weapons." In
any case, that whole scenario has been thrown into extreme doubt. Your
government at work.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff General Martin Dempsey has told Obama that a strike on Syria will end
in involvement with Iran and Russia. (...) Dempsey described military
intervention in Syria as a fool's errand. Estimating that action could cost the
$1 billion a month and require "thousands" of ground troops, Dempsey
said strikes would be "no less than an act of war" with no guarantee
of success. Dempsey said intervention would likely embolden extremist groups.
"We have learned from the past 10 yearsŠ that it is not enough to simply
alter the balance of military power without careful consideration of what is
necessary in order to preserve a functioning state," Dempsey added.
Source: Jerusalem
Post (...) According to The
Guardian article, retired Army colonel Bob
Killebrew said Dempsey is an "absolute straight shooter" and his
reluctance to get involved in Syria is likely "the opinion of all the
chiefs."

How Israel Is driving the US
to War in Syria (September 3, 2013)
The threat of a unilateral
Israeli strike on Iran if the US does not act on Syria is slowly seeping into
American media.
Hezbollah, Iran and Syria
prepare for counterattack
BEIRUT: Iran, Syria and
Hezbollah have set up a joint military operations room to coordinate closely in
the event of a U.S. strike on Syria, with Hezbollah mobilizing "tens of
thousands" of fighters, senior political and diplomatic sources told
Lebanon's The Daily Star on Friday. Even though the US has so far succeeded in
keeping the "axis of the resistance" guessing about the targets and
scope of the strike, the sources said, Iran, Syria and Hezbollah have geared up
for the worst-case scenarios. While nearly every aspect of the expected US-led
strike remains in flux, the three players have agreed on a specific course of
action if American missiles smash into Syrian territory. Hezbollah has even
called up "tens of thousands" of fighters and reservists in
anticipation of the strike, according to political sources."Iran, Syria
and Hezbollah don't have a clear picture about what Americans have
planned," said one diplomat, who wished to remain anonymous. "But
those countries too are prepared for various scenarios."

Nothing the US claims about
what happened in Syria adds up. We are being asked to believe an illogical
story, when it is much more likely that it was Israel and Saudi Arabia who
enabled the Obama Administration to threaten Syria with war.The Obama
Administration's intelligence report on Syria was a rehash of Iraq. "There
are lots of things that aren't spelled out" in the four-page document,
according to Richard Guthrie, the former project head of the Chemical and
Biological Warfare Project of the Stockholm International Peace Research
Institute. One piece of evidence is the alleged interception of Syrian
government communications, but no transcripts were provided. CLIP
A massive US and allied naval
deployment is occurring in the Eastern Mediterranean off Syria's coastline as
well as in the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. While this display of military
might may not be part of an immediate attack plan on Syria, it is creating an
atmosphere of fear and panic within Syria. (...) While the USS San Antonio has
amphibious landing equipment, which can be used to land some six thousand
sailors and marines, "no boots on the ground", however, remains the
official motto. So why then has the US deployed its most advanced amphibious
landing ship? (...) This massive naval deployment which also includes strategic
submarines was ordered prior to the tragic event of August 21, which begs the
question: If the chemical weapons attack is a
justification for intervening, why was the order to launch an R2P
"humanitarian" naval operation against Syria decided upon
"Prior" to August 21? Was there advanced knowledge or intelligence
regarding the timing and occurrence of the 21 August Chemical Weapons attack?
CLIP
US military doctrine envisages
the central role of "massive casualty producing events" in
which innocent civilians are killed. The killings are deliberately carried out
as part of a covert operation. The enemy is blamed for the resulting
atrocities. (...) A military intervention by NATO -which is already on
the drawing board- is now being contemplated, following the statement of
France's newly elected president Francois Hollande.
An outright war on Syria could potentially evolve towards a broader regional
war extending from the Eastern Mediterranean to Central Asia. It is,
therefore, crucial that World public opinion take cognizance of the media lies
and war propaganda pertaining to the Houla massacre, not to mention the
insidious role of the US-NATO sponsored death squads. Was the Houla massacre
part of a sinister covert operation bearing the fingerprints of Operation
Northwoods? There is absolutely no evidence that the Syrian government
was behind these killings. There are indications as well as documentary
evidence that, from the outset of the insurgency in the border city of Daraa in
mid-March 2011, terrorists supported by foreign powers have been involved in
the killings of innocent civilians. CLIP

Setting the stage for what may
literally be the biggest constitutional crisis in American history, the White
House is continuing to insist that President Obama has the "right" to
attack Syria whenever he wants, regardless of the circumstances.
The word on the House of
Representatives is clear: President Obama doesn't have the votes to push
through a resolution endorsing his planned attack on Syria, and he may in fact
lose big. It's going to take a lot of backroom deals and lobbying to convince
Representatives to go against the will of the American public, overwhelmingly
opposed to the war, just a year ahead of the elections, but that lobbying may
be coming. AIPAC and its usual auxiliaries in the Israel Lobby are looking to
turn the tide toward war, promising to "go all-out" next week in
lobbying Congress to support the war, along with a "major
mobilization" of US Jewish leaders. CLIP

not support military action. A Reuters-Ipsos poll had support for military
action at 20%, Pew at 29%. Members of Congress have been struck, in some cases
shocked, by the depth of opposition from their constituents. A great nation
cannot go to war-and that's what a strike on Syria, a sovereign nation, is, an
act of war-without some rough unity as to the rightness of the decision.
Widespread public opposition is in itself reason not to go forward. CLIP

The Wall Street Journal

Saudi's former ambassador to the United States - is leading the effort to prop
up the Syrian rebels. Intelligence agents from Saudi Arabia, the United States,
Jordan and other allied states are working at a secret joint operations center
in Jordan to train and arm hand-picked Syrian rebels. The Journal also reports
Prince Bandar has been jetting from covert command centers near the Syrian

undermine the Assad regime. "Really what he's doing is he's reprising a
role that he played in the 1980s when he worked with the Reagan administration
to arrange money and arms for mujahideen fighters in Afghanistan and also
worked with the CIA in Nicaragua to support the Contras," says Wall Street
Journal reporter Adam Entous. CLIP
(...) And where it stems from
is Russia anger at the way-at the way the U.S. responded not only in Kosovo,
but more recently in Libya, where the Russians feel that they were hoodwinked
by the Americans, where they agreed to go on and support a resolution that
authorized the use of force in Libya in 2011, after, they say, they got
assurances from the United States that regime change would not be the
objective. And really, the Russians just haven't been able to move beyond that
2011 decision. And Vladimir Putin is very invested at this point in being a
foil to the United States and, effectively, just trying to get in the way of
what the U.S. is trying to do. (...) So, you know, bottom line for the
Americans is they just-they were never able to sort of figure out what it would
take to bring Putin on board. And they figured Putin had no incentive to get on
board. He's sort of cast himself as the anti-the anti-Obama in many ways. You
know, he gets a lot of points at home, political points at home, for
standing up to the Americans. And he doesn't seem to have any interest in
changing that. CLIP
Grayson has set up a website,
DontAttackSyria.com, which is gathering signatures for a petition calling on
Congress to deny permission to attack Syria. "I am very disturbed by this
general idea that every time we see something bad in the world, we should bomb
it," Grayson says. "The president has criticized that mindset, and
now he has adopted it. It's simply not our responsibility to act alone and
punish this." (...) I'm voting no because this policy moves the United
States towards greater involvement in the Syrian civil war and an increasing
regional conflict. This is a very complicated sectarian civil war. Some of the
rebels share our values and want an open society. Many others are allied with
al-Qaeda and a greater threat to the United States than President Assad ever
was. U.S. military involvement, no matter the limits at this point, will likely
only pull us towards greater involvement, and with no clear endgame. CLIP

There was a prayer and
meditation for Syria this Saturday at 12:00 pm PST organized by the Shift
Network. "May this prayer heal our wounds of separation and pain. And may
this meditation create a foundation of inner peace that impacts everyone around
the world experiencing war. Peace to you all and may the blessings we were born
with unify to create a force of good in the world."
A Call for Prayer for Syria
The violence in Syria is
heartbreaking as women, children and elderly alike are dying and over 2 million
people are now refugees. It is time for people around the world to stand
together and appeal to the leaders of all factions to seek nonviolent
solutions. His Holiness Pope Francis announced he would lead a worldwide day of
fasting and prayer for peace in Syria on Sept. 7. In solidarity with His
Holiness, people of all spiritual traditions are invited to join in a Prayer
for Syria. Your heartfelt participation, together with people around the world,
will help create a unified call for peace, leveraging our collective spiritual
power. CLIP - Much

"As we approach the
threshold point beyond which our entire sphere of existence will jump into the
fourth dimensional reality, a very unique alchemical process is taking place
around the globe within the physical/spiritual/etheric matrix of all those who
are at the cutting edge of Life's evolutionary progress. Together with all
those who contribute to the spiritual awakening of humanity, we are acting as
the a trigger mechanism within the overall consciousness of our species, and as
part of the entire Gaian being comprising all that lives on Earth. As the
pioneering Awakeners, the spiritual consciousness 'leaven' in the 'bread' of
humanity's emerging Oneness Consciousness, we have a most unique, vital and
irreplaceable role to play to ensure this coming awakening jump point in our
collective evolutionary path is successfully crossed-the success being defined
as enabling the largest possible segment of humanity to consciously choose to
participate in the coming species and planet-wide transition into a higher frequency
of existence. We are literally the Key to the future for all those souls who
are to follow our lead onto the Golden Path of Light that we are now marking
out."
