BEIRUT (Sputnik) – The death toll of double
explosions in the Syrian city of Homs has risen to 46, while over 110 people have been
hospitalized, a member of staff of the city’s central hospital said Sunday.
"Another 20 bodies of victims were brought to the
hospital, the number of casualties stands at 46, 115 are injured," the
hospital employee told RIA Novosti.
According to the police, the extremists parked their
cars opposite each other at a crossroads. The law enforcers believe that the
explosions were supposed to be carried out separately to attract large crowds,
but the first blast triggered the second.
